Location: On-site | Fintech Hub – Cape Girardeau, MO
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM

As our Fintech Compliance Specialist, you’ll help shape how banking is delivered in the digital age by turning regulation into innovation.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role on a developing, fast-growing team that reports to our MRV Connect Compliance Officer. You’ll gain valuable experience and exposure to compliance certification within the financial industry while helping scale a new line of business.

What You’ll Do

  • Ensure fintech and digital payment services comply with all federal and state regulations (BSA/AML, Reg E, Reg Z, UDAAP, etc.)
  • Partner with product, operations, and technology teams to embed compliance into new banking solutions
  • Conduct risk assessments, monitoring, audits, and transaction reviews
  • Maintain and update policies, procedures, and controls to reflect evolving regulations
  • Provide training and guidance for teams and fintech partners on compliance requirements
  • Support regulatory exams and audit preparation
  • Stay ahead of industry changes and advise on compliance trends
  • Champion compliance as a strategic enabler that drives innovation, not just a checkpoint

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Legal Studies, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Experience in financial services, payments, or fintech compliance (preferred)
  • Working knowledge of applicable banking and payments regulations (preferred)
  • A mindset that’s equal parts detail-driven and forward-thinking
